Annual Solidarity Harvest Benefit Auction June 29

June 4, 2019

Solidarity Harvest is our annual Thanksgiving meal basket donation program and one of our biggest projects. We raise funds to purchase produce from smaller Maine farms, and use it to fill 1,300 Thanksgiving meal baskets distributed to Mainers in hard times. The program supports Maine farms, while feeding Mainers and highlighting the growing level of food insecurity in our state.

Join us for a fun evening to raise about 10% of our overall goal for Solidarity Harvest – Saturday, June 29, 2019. Doors open at 4:30, auction starts at 5 and goes until about 7pm. There’s a $5 donation to bid, and light refreshments will be available. You don’t have to dress up unless you want to! This auction truly has something for everyone!

Some of the items already received include:

We also have lots of gift certificates for local restaurants and shops, and great items from local artisans and businesses. Look for featured items on the auction’s Facebook event, including select items available for online bidding after the live auction.

Email Melissa@foodandmedicine.org for more info or to donate an item.
